I wouldn't call it America's first Hypercar. A bit pointless to bring up an issue with such a loose term, but wouldn't the SSC Ultimate Aero and Tuatara, and everything with performance equal to or greater than the Mosler MT900S count?
Also, I'd trust that anybody who can afford a car with such ridiculous performance would at least be smart enough to only drive it fast at a Trackday, where there's at least some element of safety in case of a High speed crash. Fuck it shits me when some cashed up star wrecks a Ferrari because of really irresponsible driving on public roads. May as well just cut out the dealership altogether and burn a pile of money whilst breaking a few bones with a sledgehammer.
