Cyberbullying is more than just people being dicks to you online. It's more than that. It's incessant harassment and following you around. It's spreading false information or incriminating photos of you without your consent. It's easy for it to spill over into real life, too. Spreading things about you around your school? To your coworkers? To strangers on the internet? These things have a real-life impact. If you can stop a cyberbully by closing the window or hitting "mute", it isn't cyberbullying. Bullying is much more pervasive.
Personally I think that killing yourself or being over dramatic because some said "You're gay" or "You're a retard". Is stupid. Even if it's constant harassment. Just shut of the computer. But anyways, enough of me. I want to hear your opinions. KEEP IT CIVIL
Cyberbullies can be stopped by reporting and muting.

People are willing to go crazy lengths to hunt down and harass people they don't like.

If it's simple insults or empty threats, then frankly you need to take people less seriously and have a break from the computer. E.g. whenever I hear someone complaining about someone sending hatemail or that sorta thing, I can't see why you can't delete it and ignore them. (Obviously this is different compared to if a bully was doing it irl and continuing it online, but places like here, for example, I could just block it and end it there.)If it's online stalking and psychological shit, i.e. hacking my FB and posting incriminating pictures of me (somehow), then I'm pretty sure it crosses over into breaking the law.
