Do you think more company CEO's should be like Elon Musk?

Elon is classified as one ruthless motherfucker. He's always trying to innovate, even when things are hard to accomplish, he has his employees try to meet deadlines that seem really damn impossible to accomplish a lot. Hell, he sent a company wide message to SpaceX employees that he doesn't want acronyms beside the few he knows or made. Do you think his ways of running the companies he has are good, in the sense to make employees and such much more better at life skills and whatnot?

It depends on the sector they're involved with. Different sectors require different methods of operating their business. Since Musk is in the technology sector (what I'd consider experimental technology), then it only makes sense that he attempts to innovate. But other sectors don't really need unnecessary improvements. Musk isn't really doing anything that hasn't been done before technologically. Telsa is basically an improvement of EV's and SpaceX is basically using the concepts of aerospace engineering that we've seen in the 20th century. I'd consider him a business innovator more than anything really.

Also, Steve Jobs was a lot like Musk in a way. OCD about how their company runs.

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.
Musk is involved in a highly-competitive sector on the forefront of technology.

If he isn't ruthless, he dies.

Any competent CEO will have a similar drive to develop new technology and increase efficiency. Another example is Amazon; they're not making dividends now, but they're reinvesting all their money into R&D so they can be the top competitor.

Elon Musk seems like a great leader, and I like his focus on efficient electrics.

Way too productive >_>

I'm glad he puts in 100 hours of work and is always trying to communicate with his employees on every single thing during a project.

Google is quite ruthless and it has resulted in high turnover. Basically it is worse than normal companies, where once you meet the quota they expect you next time to meet a higher quota. Usually it leads to high stress. Ever wondered why their offices are so great. Basically to keep their workers living in their offices.
