I think you mean the DNC leak. Wikileaks had nothing to do with Clinton's email scandal; all of that was done through investigations and FoIA requests.

To make us like them and not our own country? Well, I don't pay much attention to Wikileaks, but if Russia wants to release this, good on them. CIA shouldn't be spying on everyone, especially their own people.

There is, as of yet, no corroborating evidence that this is true, and probably without reading anything except maybe this article at most, you've already espoused the idea that 1) the CIA spies on citizens using these techniques, and illegally, 2) these techniques are bad, and 3) that it's good for our enemies to do this.

What I don't get is how people are always so quick to treat anything released by that FSB proxy as pure fact.

No one ever seems to question the validity of leaked documents or even why LemmyWinks only seems to target prominent western governments. Just that whatever supposed government secret gets leaked is obviously an indication of bad intentions.
