I never said he was. I said he was spewing racist and xenophobic rhetoric. His supporters that cheer for the stuff he is going on about with deporting millions, building walls, and closing off the internet are idiots.

I meant the people at the rally. Just sit there and ask yourself that for a minute. Do you REALLY support deporting millions of people and building a massive wall like it'll solve everything? The government can't even get a website working for its own healthcare, what in gods name makes you think they'd be ably to rally to deport millions?

And what kind of message would that be sending to the world, rounding up people on buses and shipping them off, separating countless people from their families, and looking like something straight out of the 1930's Nazi's? No one in the Western world would support the US doing that, nor would the civilian population here.

It is one of the most un-American things you could be championing, is horribly inhumane, and just not feasible. And that's not even getting into the wall and how we'd pay to build and maintain something almost 2000 miles long. Or how we'd be the only nation (one which champions being the "free world" and pro human rights) in the entire world which closes off its borders due to a religion.

Just sit back and think about all of that for a minute. The fact you're supporting pure, uneducated, xenophobic, racist, and immoral things like this, is horribly wrong. I get you're sick of the government and current leadership running it, but that is simply not the answer.

Decrying one neoliberal for not being the right kind of neoliberal is absurd. Decrying any modern political movement independently of all others is absurd.

Every single decision made by government is backed up with coercion and the open threat of lethal force. All these appeals to morality and ethics reek of delusion. Donald Trump is no less morally upright than Bernie Sanders, George Bush, Pericles, or any other politician in the history of the institution of the state. Sniffing your own farts while talking about how silly those uneducated republicans are is absurd.

Trump represents a defiance of all that is sacred in modern political discourse, and for that I love the man. Trump is a caricature of the system while he himself mocks the system. Those of you circle jerking over how dumb his supporters are miss the fucking point.

And the fact that Trump encourages hateful rhetoric to be spewed when it goes on? Either I'm missing the point you're trying to make, or it's not similar at all, because I don't understand how he's at all similar to the other modern examples you used. You sound like you're talking more from an ideological/philosophical standpoint than a practical one.
