Who won the Republican debates?

You can pick two winners.

I picked Kasich because he managed to do pretty well for an underdog, I think his polls will surge as a result. Plus, he's probably the closest candidate to my actual views.

I also picked Rubio, because he managed to put himself out there ahead of the others. It's no surprise the Democrats fear a Rubio ticket the most, given how he could position himself (either against Sanders or Clinton) as the candidate of the new instead of the old.

Bush also impressed me, but he didn't really "win".

I couldn't watch the debate but I'm choosing Kasich and Bush because one of those two candidates will most likely get my vote

I dunno who won (probably either Kasich or Christie for me), but I think the surprise person was easily Ben Carson.

What makes it even more significant is he's an amateur amongst professionals (minus Trumph), and that says something.

Bush to me came off as... plain and aloof.

And yeah, if Rubio won the ticket, Dems would be scared as hell. It'd literally be Obama v McCain, but with the script flipped.

I chose Rubio and Carson.

I liked how strong Rubio came off, so he's definitely got my vote. I chose Carson because he really brought himself out and, seeing as he is a rookie among the others, he impressed me quite a bit.

Trump and Paul got hulk smashed and I don't want to see either be nominated.

I do really like Kasich, but I did pick him for the sole purpose that he is a curbstomp winner. So I just chose someone else because I felt the need to put a spotlight on them.

Carson probably made the most gains in a relative sense. I haven't watched it yet but a LOT of my family members and friends are talking about him now when before they knew nothing about him.

Easily Rubio and I really hope he gets the nomination. It'd be an easy win for the good guys.

Oh man, first of all, this was good television. I'm an idiot for missing the first hour because this was great to watch. All three of the moderators--Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly, and Bret Baier-- did an excellent job. They didn't go easy on the candidates. It's so easy to forget that Fox News actually has some good reporters. It's the most I've liked Kelly since 2012.

I still have my unexplainable grudge against Rubio, but apparently he did a good job for himself. John Kasich seems like a good guy, and the only one of the GOP contenders I'd vote for. Some folks are saying Ben Carson also did well, although I'm pretty decided that I don't like him. I saw clips of Carly Fiorina at the smaller debate, and while she's too conservative for my tastes, she left a very good impression.

Donald Trump should have lost by all measures, but Roger Ailes threw Kelly under the bus in favor of Trump, and now she's on a two-week vacation. If the GOP were rational, they'd be glad that Trump got dunked on, but instead they're going into damage control mode to defend him. It's just... baffling, and disheartening the backlash Kelly is getting, but thankfully the election is more than a year away. Plenty of time to set things right again.
