I wish it wasn't true, but I expect them to stay the same, or simply get worse.
Only getting worse by getting more deadly equipment.

I reckon it will develop a little bit, what with 1st world technology slowly bleeding in to the African cities now and some of it being developed specifically for there (African Nokia 130, anyone?)


But...if Frank's Theory is correct, our lovely Trans/Multi-National Companies will keep Africa poor, and keep the perpetual machine of debt repayment going and keep them reliant on us. Development will still occur, just not as fast as perhaps Africa has the potential too if it were in control.


But that would be a rather pessimistic and cynical way to look at their future.
