Where do I go after Highschool

I pretty much a 3 options and a 4th if my current relationships works well. The 3 are Colorado (I live there currently and have made a life here), Cali (Somewhere around San Fran since I have a life built around there as well), and New York (I love NY and it's a small dream of mine to live there and go for an artistic career there. The 4th would be Tennessee where my current partner has gotten a house in. I know NY is probably not the best choice, and my finance is my biggest concern over everything else, so just from this post/ personal experience, where would you suggest going?

The San Francisco Bay Area is expensive as fuck and has some of the worst traffic in the country. You should stay in Colorado in my opinion.

I would avoid Option Four. You're at a crucial point in your life where you can't let your life be driven by your relationships. Yes, it's unpleasant, but laying a solid foundation for your future is more important than anything else right now.

Going for the safe choice might not be the most exhilerating one, but I assume that ending up in NY as a washed up artist who can't get a job or in Tennessee if your relationship would fail isn't going to be great either.

I am not really even considering the Tennessee option at this point. NY is very much still a dream but I have my whole life to live, so it can wait.
