It's a really murky subject, since the atrocities committed against Native Americans were severe and outright savage. But, tragically, this advanced our culture in so many ways. Helped us acquire so many fantastic creations and the like in the long run.

I would never justify what might as well be the cultural genocide of the natives, but one can't also deny that we are now living on age that so many take for granted. It's a grim dark reality that the greatest of civilizations were built off the sweat, tears, and blood of many, and the Americas are no exception.

A. Time

B. Laws of the Republic being the foundation of Western Civ laws

And also just how effective at fighting and conquering they were, thus spreading their own culture which still lasts to this day in some forms. There is a reason people circle jerk over Rome and not, say, the Mongol Empire.

We should really view all of history from an unbiased and analytical standpoint, especially in the classroom.

Let kids come to their own conclusions. If we spend all our time teaching kids who the villains and heroes of history are, we've just been reduced to a propaganda state.
