What if there was indisputable proof that God exists/doesn't exist?

For the religious:

What would you do if there was proof that God doesn't exist? How do you think the rest of the world would react to this?

For the non-religious:

How do you think the world would be if God actually presented Himself to the world in a way that was indisputable? Would you continue to reject him or would you change your ways?

I'm talking about the Christian God, by the way.

Well if God did just appear and it was totally legit, I'd probably ask him some questions.

If I find God is still a sadist as he is portrayed in whatever the "only" religious text is (as his existence would probably dispel any outer religions' texts), then I'll stick to not being religious. I can't refute his existence, but he can still be an arse.
