Though you may as well consider it IS propaganda since it's be impossible for them to take such an opportunity without portraying themselves in the most favorable way possible.

And it's about 45 minutes, so I know none of you nigger faggots are gonna watch the entire thing.

YouTube

Though a lot has changed in Syria and Iraq since this documentary was released (about 8 months ago). Lemme bring up the contrasting maps.

Situation in August 2014.

Situation now.

You will find out who you are not a thousand times, before you ever discover who you are. I hope you find peace in yourself and learn to love instead of hate.
I saw this, it just made me hate them more.

How so? That's an interesting reaction especially right after seeing what would amount to a propaganda piece.

You can thank Lord Assad the Great for that, really. If it weren't for him, IS would have still been a dying movement on its knees in western Iraq.

Hell, Assad even harbored, trained, and armed IS (unofficially, of course) back before 2011.

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.

Source?

Why would an Alawite government with ties to Iran be interested in harbouring what is basically the most brutal Salafist group to walk the planet?

It's hard to believe that the Iraqi soldiers surrendered to ISIS, they know what they do to prisoners and yet these idiots threw down their arms and went to die like sheep.

*sigh*

But at least for once the other countries in the region seem to be putting some effort in to saving their own hides, it'd be nice if we didn't have to send more poor buggers to fight and die in the desert whilst the people they are 'saving' shoot them in the backs.

This was in 2003. When the US invaded Iraq, there were lots of (valid) rumors that the US would go into Syria next. So it was in Syria's and Iran's best interests to keep the US bogged down there for as long as possible by arming and harboring the local insurgents (many of whom were al-Qaeda in Iraq at the time). It's just in 2012 when their previous strategy finally bit them back in the ass, did they become "partners" in the war on terror.
