Well..

This is seriously fucked. That's over 16,000,000 out of the pre-war population of 22,000,000 who are displaced.

Though this statistic should be taken with a few grains of salt, since only 6 months ago, 50% of the population was displaced. So it's more likely in between 50-75%

It's sad. I've seen videos of people younger than me who are just corpses rotting in some ditch because they were forcibly drafted into this war. And not to mention that significant portions of the country have been forcibly depopulated by the Government...

Yeah, the social fabric of the country has been torn to shreds.

You have 5 quasi-states taking up the land of a single state. Even more quasi-states once you consider how much disunity most of the factions have.

Syria's statehood is pretty much just a formality now, since no party within it is anywhere near strong enough to assert control over the entire country.
