how?
It's a pipe dream; idealistic nonsense. I'd rather devote my time to tweaking the best system of organisation man has yet devised: capitalism.

lolno... It only doesn't work if we switch straight to communism... we need a long transition period from capitalism to socialism to communism (this would take a century or two)...
Spoiler
sorry for lack of grammar... writing this very fast in school.

Even if you could make it work, there's nothing to suggest it'd be superior to capitalism.

I mean, we are comparing it to the system which has given 1pc of human history 99pc of the wealth.

because it's the system that was used in the best ancient civilizations... (because they didn't have a concept of communism)... Also because it was being used during the industrial revolution...

Wouldn't ancient civilizations that existed before money was created be closer to communism than capitalism?

Those were barter economies (ex: four chicken eggs for a loaf of bread).  Currency came about because a standard medium of exchange makes conducting business much easier for everyone.

In communism there is no currency.  Communists that I've spoken to say that bartering would still be a common practice (ex: I'll build you a guitar if you build me a canoe), but that profit wouldn't be a motivating factor in the exchange of goods and services.

Well we know there really wouldn't have been an incentive to innovate to such an extent, and there's a reason that civilisation eventually evolved from it's prehistoric anarcho-egalitarianism and it's ancient proto-socialism.

We also know that the implementation of socialised economic policy can lead to a reduction in industrial activity, namely through Anarchist Catalonia.

What about an ancient community where, for example, the men go out and hunt and gather while women stay and make clothes and other things enough to fill the needs of every person.
