It's a shame someone had to die, but it was that or innocents die.
Speaking to reporters, Dr. James Scott Smith, the superintendent of St. Mary's County's public schools, put the senselessness of it all in perspective."It looks as though the SRO [school resource officer] did exactly what the SRO is trained to do, and yet we still have a tragic loss of life," he said. "We still have somebody in critical condition. And we have students at the school and staff at the school impacted."
Wondering why we're not hearing this on mass media, regardless. It's a shame someone had to die, but it was that or innocents die.Praise to that officer, hope this doesnt affect him badly.
The other 2 people might still die since they're in critical condition, but you know....At least its not 17 people.
The girl just died.
