This is what you do if you shoot somebody in self defence.

So...aim for the head instead of the kneecaps?

Got it.
Center mass(Torso) actually. Aiming for the head could make you appear to be an assassin or someone with malice intentions. You're suppose to shoot to incapacitate or end a dangerous/lethal threat. If they die because of it, its not your fault. But going up and shooting even the criminal in the face could put you in a bad spot light. Or so I've been told.
Ah, so the heart. Noted.

We always say to fight fire, you must use fire. This is wrong. Fighting fire with fire will leave scars and a new flame will rise. We must instead use water. It is the opposite of fire, it extinguishes the fire, it cools, it refreshes, it heals. We are made up of 70% water, we are not made up of 70% fire. Please practice what we truly are

Center mass.. but sure.. Do note that a single shot to the heart, or anywhere in the body, will not necessarily kill someone instantly. Even if the heart was hit or partially blown up inside the person, they could still attack you with a weapon for anywhere up to a minute. That is why people practice what is called, Double Tap.. Were you put two rounds in a target nearly instantaneous. The first shot would severely weaken and the second one would more than likely cause shock and then drop.

The fact you value personal possessions over human life is also silly
I can't speak for anyone else, but I consider anyone willing to violate his fellow man's property rights worthless, and I feel no pity for him.
Thank you! : D

This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.

Not really. You aim center mass in a combat/defense situation for one main reason, which is as follows: good luck hitting anything else. Statistically, if a policeman was to fire six rounds in quick succession at an assaulting target only two would strike. This is due to a combination of factors, ranging from your handgun itself, your shooting skills, the adrenaline in your body, and the rapid firing of your weapon until the threat is incapacitated.

If lethal force is required, you need to be able to hit, not miss a bunch of headshot attempts and send stray bullets everywhere.

That too.
