It is a bit odd - Obama didn't rely on EO's this much until 2013 and beyond, because Congress was Republican controlled.

Trump has a majority in Congress, and is soon to in the Supreme Court. He theoretically has no need to rely this much on executive orders. It makes me wonder if he's been told by Congressional leadership that they wouldn't be able to get his ideas through a vote.

I saw someone say that instead of wasting billions on a wall that can be dug under (hell they would still get in through trucks at the border checks), use the time and money to instead make applying for visas better.

And Trump is trying to make Mexico "reimburse us" (HAH) by cutting off humanitarian aid. Ten bucks says they still wouldn't budge if he followed through on that.

Which took many many years to do and millions of people to do it. Even with modern tech this wall will take generations to complete and the terrain will make it even harder. The wall is technically possible to do, but it is not a practical thing at all due to the time, resources and money. The money being spent on it would be better off going towards a stronger border presence which would be a lot more practical.
