There's a big debate in the blogosphere between neo-reactionaries and liberals about whether or not crime has increased since the Victorian/Edwardian Era. It looks like the evidence points in favour of the neo-reactionaries being correct, which liberals like Scott Alexander have even come to acknowledge.

If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
Would this have anything to do with old petrol having lead in it, or is this coincidence?

Here's the thingy I was looking for:

The graph is based off American stats but could just as well apply to the UK and elsewhere.

Still, amazing that it could be as high as 28 times...good on the medical professional doing their job well.
