Most people consider the Q (queer/questioning) as the representation for anyone who doesn't quite fit into LGBT. So yes, like genderqueer, asexual, etc. The rest of the acronym is pretty unnecessary and I generally say LGBT, not LGBTQ.

Most of it is relatively accurate, I'd say, although I'm not into relationships either, so some of them don't apply to me.

There are better articles out there, though.

Bisexuals and Trans, There are some Lez and Gays (and Trans) that believe that B should be taken out of the title because they're "not proper members of the community". Trans people sometimes face similar treatment.

I remember reading somewhere that bis are seen by some gays within the "community" as fence-sitters and people who can't make up their mind. I can back that up from personal experience, to a minor degree, and I can't find the source right at the moment >.>

Essentially, I'm asking if the LGBT community - to the extent that it's organised and has people who self-identify within the movement - has a chronic problem with the treatment of bisexuals.

I doubt that. I hear within the community, Bi people can get bullied a lot.

But they're probably the lowest on the homeless, attacked and murdered scale.

I haven't really experienced anything myself, but I'm not really open about my sexuality at the moment.

Though I've heard from other people who are bi that they experience stereotyping from both straight and gay people. Straight people tend to assume that it's "just a phase" and gay people assume that it's a way of trying to pass off as "not really gay". It's also common to think that bisexuals aren't bi anymore just because they're in a monogamous relationship, as if they would magically become 100% gay just because they're dating someone of the same sex, or vice versa.

I wouldn't really call that oppression, though. Although I haven't experienced it myself, so I can't really make a judgement on that.

I'd definitely say that transgendered  people are the most oppressed though, and they also have the highest suicide rate of any group of people in society, IIRC.
