of graduating with a shitty liberal arts degree. What can I do? (Yes, I realized I made a big mistake)

Teaching- not for me, I'm not really an academic. It would take another 2 years of my life as well, plus $26,000 that I don't have. If I could do it with getting a stupid master's in education I would, but my state requires it

-Business/Finance related jobs- Yes, I would like these, but would be extremely difficult to get unless you know someone who will give you a chance (trust me, I've been trying to get one for eight months)

IT/Tech related jobs- I don't have the necessary software requirements, obviously. Could be learned if someone gives me a chance

Sales- Last thing on Earth I want to do is convince someone to buy something and work for commission. Not that kind of person

Does it matter? And I guess they're not entirely useless if you have a direction in mind with them, ex. Psychology major wanting to be a therapist, etc... But I chose History, mainly because it was easy, and I failed math in high school, which is another story entirely. It is just as useless as Art History and English, maybe even more useless.

Go with any job that seems tolerable at this point, then the degree you have might help you move up the ladder a bit faster. Think of it like this though, all of the people who don't have degrees and still succeeded didn't start off at the top >.>

A degree is necessary for some jobs, and just a way of cutting in line for others. Work your way up to a managerial position and then you can start to look around for other jobs >.>

Or hell, do some retraining in a course that will lead you into a job more quickly <.<
In this economic climate, it doesn't work out very well to be too picky about jobs.

Yes.
Basically I've always wanted to do something with computers and technology, but I've never had the math skills to do it.

Everyone claims to be bad at math. I don't buy it, I don't think you guys give yourselves a chance. Could just be bias though.

Well the three college math courses I took were Intro to Stats where I got an A-, Mathematics for Business and Economics which I received a B, and Discrete Mathematics where I think I got a B-. Not terrible, but it wasn't my main course of study.

I didn't have to specialize in anything, it's just the plain degree. Minor is political science, I just chose it to make myself look better, in reality I think politics is disgusting and what no part in it.

I like working with Microsoft Excel. I took a one day seminar explaining the basics today, and have been teaching it to myself (at least the things that I can). I still can't pinpoint a single career, but something that involves data analysis, writing, being creative, and solving problems. But that sounds pretty much like any job.

Actually, these aren't too difficult to get into. Register with a temp agency, and land a gig in HR/PR/AR/AP. Show you can learn things and are responsible, and then most places will hire you.

Stop worrying so much. You have your whole life, and ya, college was probably a big waste but no use clinging to the thought about it. Money isn't everything, and it won't make you happy. Just start being productive, exercise, do something that will build a little pride and character. Hell, do what I do and provide for yourself. It's the best feeling in the world.

How is the Washington State wilderness treating you?

Bullshit. I don't feel sorry for you anymore.

I SUCK at math, I've failed two math classes in just one year and now I have an A in my current one because you know what? I tried. Really hard.

Just because you think you're bad at something doesn't mean you are and now you're stuck with a useless major. I can't comprehend why people use "oh im just bad at it" as an excuse.
