He seems like a Dem I could actually vote for. I mean, yeah, he likes Affirmative Action and he never wants to see Social Security privatized, but he's pro individual rights, pro gun rights, and pro military (while being pro gays in military) and doesn't want to end all free trade like Bernie does.


Why have I not heard about this man before?

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.
The parties really should be able to choose their own leaders. Not sure how that would work in a congressional--as opposed to a parliamentary--system though.

The primaries just force everybody to the fringe.

It's  a bummer but not a deal breaker to me. Maintaining current policy is less evil than enacting new and harmful legislation.
