I suspected from the start of his "reign" that his father was assassinated by top generals who then attached puppet strings to lil' Kim, because I don't think he had ANY knowledge on leading. Sure he machine-gun'd an ex and fed his uncle to purposefully starved dogs, but he had NO power at all.

I have a feeling that China and South Korea are just licking their lips with antici...................pation at the prospect of a Civil War. South Korea (and the U.S.) would go in to steam roll them, and China would probably work on implementing their own puppet government.

Truthfully, don't you find Vice.com's reporting style a little too sensationalist, or maybe greatly exaggerated? A civil war in the very header is a dead giveaway that this is nothing more than speculation for click-grabbing. Those who generate this speculation may be experts but nonetheless the lack of direct information from that totalitarian country itself should be a giveaway as to calling this incoming, and dramatic political change that has been expected for years a civil war of sorts is laughable.

Shows how much power little Kimmy has over his party. Doesn't attend a political meeting over hurt ankles, immediately the country goes into shutdown and defect/coup mode.

Let's hope it's a coup so a lot of the uppers get wiped out, causing them to flex their muscles on South Korea, leading to North Korea's ultimate steam-rolling. That's the best realistic outcome for this 60 year standoff now.

There wasn't much to topple, Kim just inherited his fathers position, he really wasn't raised to be a leader. Toppling Kim was quite literally taking candy from a rather chubby baby.
