I'm really excited to see where this goes. I'm genuinely intrigued to see the fence-mending going on. I didn't think we'd see it so soon.

Immigration might be good for the economy but it's bad for school systems when they become overloaded with students whose parents likely aren't paying any taxes.

I know, but Obama has a strong record with nativist immigration measures. Protecting illegals for deportation, and subsequently creating an easier, more streamlined path to citizenship is the best way to secure sufficient infrastructure.

Really though, legal immigration/immigrants=good for society and economy. Illegal immigration/immigrants=bad for society and economy. I'm not going to have another discussion on this

Considering the GOP platform on immigration and how they view/talk about immigrants, I can't blame them.

- Cuba relations improvement
- Immigration Executive Order

In general, he's been a good/great President on social issues.

Good, because you're wrong. There's no fundamental, metaphysical difference between legitimate and illegal immigrants, and the only reason you seem to see one is because of some sort of tacit authoritarianism.
