Why the fuck does McDonald's have 2 drive thru lanes?

Seriously, it's a shit way to take orders and the customers are fucking dumbasses when it comes to orders. Yea, cameras are placed to see the car, but even then it's not enough. It's more counter-productive, especially during busy hours. Holy hell, people almost get into accidents, too, because they want to pay first and shit so it messes up the order and gets the worker more worked up and prone to a mistake.

Discuss why McDonald's is going down the shitter.

With long lines it makes sense. You can pay and then grab your food once you roll by the window. It might not work with less popular chains, but McDonald's is usually packed around lunch time.

You realize there's no difference in wait times when serving food, right? It's the same as getting out your car and sitting down.
