The push for gun control should always be there imo, not just when tragedies happen. Appeal to emotion is always a bad idea.

I kinda agree. It seems people take bad situations and turn it into political manners that would not exist if an event had not taken place. Nothing about gun control comes up until people die, nothing about government spying comes up until people are affected by it

Saddened to see this today. It seems every few weeks in America something like this happens. I'm tired of it. He most likely got the gun from his parents, and it doesn't seem like they did a good job of keeping it locked up.

Extremely coincidental seeing that someone spray-painted in the one of the bathrooms saying that there was going to be a shooting at Auburn Riverside today.

Really don't want to dig into the whole politics of this, but schools NEED to be given the same protection as we give airplanes. It took just one attack for us to realize that in order to prevent more, armed and undercover personnel needed to be on board of every flight. Schools should realize this, send a couple of volunteer teachers, retired police, or retired military to federal-approved courses that basically certify these people to carry a weapon concealed during school hours/events and their identities concealed.

Why is that we protect airplanes, airports, banks, sports stadiums, hospitals, politicians, and number of other things with armed guards yet we somehow ignore schools?

When I worked at McDonald's for 6 months, we had TV's all in that thing.
At one point, there was literally a shooting a week, for an entire month.

Freaking ridiculous what has happened to our Country.

ALOT of people do that. Heck, my High School had a shooting threat.
But nothing happened.
