Donald Trump might finally have crossed the line.Appearing on Saturday at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, the real estate mogul took his running feud with Arizona Sen. John McCain to a new level.“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”The remarks, which came after days of back-and-forth between McCain and Trump, were met with scattered boos.McCain, a former Navy pilot, spent roughly five-and-half years in a notorious North Vietnamese prison known as the “Hanoi Hilton,” where he was repeatedly tortured. He spent two of those years in solitary confinement. At a press availability following his remarks, Trump denied saying that McCain isn’t a war hero and said, “If somebody’s a prisoner, I consider them a war hero.”He also continued his attacks on the Arizona senator, saying, “I think John McCain’s done very little for the veterans. I’m very disappointed in John McCain.”
Are you kidding? Trump supporters love this shit.
Quote from: Mad Max on July 18, 2015, 07:52:31 PMAre you kidding? Trump supporters love this shit.Pretty much. Trump's outlandish campaign style and rhetoric has drawn support from the far fringes of the conservative base - similar to Ted Cruz's rise to fame. As long as that base continues to sustain him pre-primaries, there's no real reason for Trump to drop out. That being said, on a national scale, the moderate and less crazy GOP voters, including the libertarians, far outnumber the base that Trump is building. If he wants to have any chance at prevailing in the elections, he's going to need to cut down the rhetoric and appeal to a wider population. Problem is one he does, he loses his base. At some point, Trump is going to hit his ceiling.

By the time it reaches the primaries he'll have a huge lead and I'll he honored to be one of his voters.

I hope Trump wins the GOP nomination. The Republican party needs to die. It's a huge clusterfuck of neo-cons, good ol' boys, libertarians and fundamentalist Christians.

Yeah, let's have the country run by one party alone! That's a fucking fantastic idea!
Can we ban Midget from Serious again? Please?
