This is why all of your fears of a doomsday situation if women are allowed to serve in combat roles is ridiculous. A very small fraction of women would even pass the requirements to join.

You have a right to not be discriminated against. If a man is legally allowed to do something, it's a crime to prohibit women from doing the same thing - or, at the very least, not having a reasonable substitute.

No, you don't. You have a right not to be discriminated against based on sex, religion, ethnicity, etc., but every employer discriminates: a marketing firm discriminates against applicants that have no sales experience, and the infantry discriminates against all candidates that can't meet physical and mental standards. As a result, women are currently barred from the infantry because it's been shown time and time again that there are exceedingly few who can even pass to women's standards let alone men's, and the logistical ramifications of catering to a minuscule minority outweigh the benefit of including them, not even mentioning the psychological impact of having women in the field.
