1. What do you think is the best way to tackle addiction? From both a legal and a medical perspective (In terms of policy) Or do you think that it's not the state's responsibility to try to treat addicts?
2. What is your opinion on this eejit? Totally not a loaded question by the way, but the title is something of a clue as to what I think of Peter Hitchens.

There's no one way. It only should be in the interest of the government to treat addicts if they're currently incarcerated; easiest way is just to throw them in a cell and monitor all movements to prevent inmates from exchanging illicit items
