"Emotional damages"?Kill yourselves you fucking faggots. Go to a different bakery. How fucking spiteful can you be to destroy someone's business because they don't want to bake you a cake?
They're not being discriminated against.
I'm mostly curious what kind of cake this was. I've been to a shit-ton of weddings, and none of them have ever had pictures or writing on the cake. They're almost always plain, sometimes with flowers or other shit on them.

That's why i'm saying the judge must have had his reasons.I don't see how that's in conflict with my distaste for same sex marriage being illegal.

Let me guess - "gays are executed in the middle east, so gays in the US should shut the fuck up"?

All I can side with is that the couple was within their legal right to sue the bakery for discrimination.

It really would be no different to refusing to bake a cake for a paedophile conference, and I'm sure nobody would take issue with that.
Over? Nah. There's still plenty left.
Well pedophiles aren't a protected class in Oregon or any other US state, so it's not really the same.
Quote from: Mad Max on July 09, 2015, 01:08:02 PMOver? Nah. There's still plenty left. After briefly glancing over that list, the only two that really seem "oppressive" are the right to fire somebody on the grounds of their sexuality (and that's a fucking stretch) and gay conversion therapy.
But meta it's perfectly OK to force people to be complicit in a ceremony they don't agree with. Why can't you understand this?

Pretty sure you'll be sued to death of you fire somebody for being gay. Haven't heard of people being fired for being gay. Obviously the official reasons won't be listed as "fired for being gay", but people know when it happens and would raise hell about it. 2. LOL3. And Jews still face discrimination because Neo Nazis are protected by police when they fly their nazi flag. Fuck off. 4. Landlords can rent to whoever hey want to. You'll find black people still have a tough time renting in majority white areas. While this is wrong, it isn't institutionalized discrimination. 5. That isn't institutionalized discrimination. 6. Of course. Provide support for the middle class and rich gay kids but arrest and shoot kids in the ghetto. 7. They should be restricted. 8. I don't see how jury duty is so appealing or how they can really tell if somebody's gay, but ok. 9. Transgenders are mentally unstable and shouldn't serve in the military. 10. That's a problem with parents not accepting their kids. It isn't oppression. 11. Adoption is really fucked up for everybody no matter how you look at it. But yes, it's ducked up how gay couples are discarded. 12. Happens to everybody. 13. Happens more to ethnic and religious minorities than gays and trannies. 14. I don't even know what to say to this shit. These people are going to be messed with in any gender prison. 15. Happens to everybody. 16. You can't pass a law to stop people from disliking and rejecting homosexuality and transgenderism. Gays and such are hardly oppressed.
