I think it's more of an issue of same-sex relationships having more trouble staying together than how same sex parents actually interact with the child.

A good home is a good home, whether it's a single parent, two parents, amalgamated, typical adoption or same sex adoption.I think in terms of the difficulties kids might face from having homosexual (adoptive or IVF) parents are going to decrease fairly soon, if not already. Society is already generally accepting of it, although the SJW lynchmobs on people who aren't all that open minded are the most surefire way to entrench bigotry. If a child was raised with 2 dads, they are still missing a mother; an extra father does not take the place of a nurturer. This is my thinking so far.
Single parents can raise kids so I don't see why a same-sex couple can't.
I want a better understanding of the long-term effects and consequences before I can take a position.
