He's never renounced his beliefs or expressed remorse for the murders and casualties. Spurred by far-left activism, President Clinton offered to commute FALN members' sentences at the cost of contrition, and he refused.

He's overall a terrible human being with a desire to kill people and create panic, and now he's a free man.

I didn't read the whole cnn article but from what I gather he wasn't ever directly charged with any of the attacks.
