Germany has announced an immediate ban on all activity which promotes Isis, as the group maintains its control over swathes of Syria and Iraq.Security agencies estimate at least 400 people from Germany have joined the group now calling itself the Islamic State (IS) and similar organisations. The decree closes a legal loop hole which made it difficult to prosecute supporters of the group.Under Fridayβs ruling, it is now illegal to distribute propaganda material promoting IS, to display the groupβs symbols, or to take part in activities connected with the group. In a statement on Friday, interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere warned that the group poses a βthreat to public security in Germanyβ and therefore its recruitment efforts must to be stopped.More than 100 jihadists are back in Germany including "some with combat experience who have learned to hate", he said.
Ridiculous. Any country that doesn't allow complete freedom of nonviolent expression doesn't deserve to be a country.

Any country that doesn't allow complete freedom of nonviolent expression doesn't deserve to be a country.Just going out on a limb here, anybody doing "non violent" expression who are with the ISIS are completely bullshitting. The group itself is a piece of human garbage if there ever was any, and everything they stand for is backwards and outdated retardation.Somebody may not be doing anything physically bad by demonstrating non-violently to support the group, but the fact that they're with them means they're as fucked in the head as the ones doing the beheading are, only to a lesser extent. If anybody wants to get anywhere and make any ground over this issue, you need to put your fucking foot down, and hard. Besides, barring the protests or "non violent expression" might help avert incidents between those demonstrating and those on the street. That being said, it could also push things over and those relatively peaceful demonstrators could tip over from peaceful to a full blown representation of the group they support. In that case, you could say they were never very peaceful in the first place then.
