I get this is a heated election cycle, and BOTH candidates' rhetoric make their loss an end of the world scenario. But this is reprehensible.

I hope whoever did this is caught and sentenced to the maximum this crime allows.

It just feels like the stakes have never been so high before.

I don't even believe in democratic institutions, but my tax dollars could wind up funding the outright slaughter of innocent people in the name of international commerce and finance. When I'm chrismated into the Orthodox church in the next year or so, I will be in communion with millions of people that Hillary Clinton wants dead or disenfranchised. I feel like I HAVE to take part in this. I can't afford to sit this one out.
Which is ironic because this election has so many people jaded and apathetic towards the whole situation. Regardless of which side you support, you shouldn't let them get you down like that and feel like you don't have to vote. You're right in the stakes being high.
