Toys R Us being looted.

Someone shot at a residence.
The scannner link is there for anyone who wants to listen.
Not sure if we need to update every time they say something. Again this thread is suppose to be for discussion.

I thank you for the link bro but Anytime anyone tries to discuss anything the liberal mods shut us down.

Pants Up, Dont loot.
And yes, Brown was murdered by the cop.
There is no evidence to support this statement. Not even enough to take it to trial.

This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
And yes, Brown was murdered by the cop.  Don't know how emptying a clip into an unarmed person isn't fucking overkill.
Because a single bullet does not guarantee death or incapacitation of the target.

Especially considering the size of Brown

And if there really was a struggle for the gun, the cop probably would have been panicking.

Just curious, if one bullet had incapacitated him and the second killed him (hypothetically), how does a few more bullets in quick succession (i.e., not deliberately firing into a dead body) change this from self defense into murder?

Well, if it's not deliberately firing into a dead body, then there'd be no reason at all to think it would change anything.
Nick just seemed confused as to why firing multiple rounds isn't excessive force once the officer is perceived to be in danger and has escalated the situation to the use of deadly force.

Wait, I thought he said he had to have orbital socket surgery?  Oh wait, that was Fox News reporting an anonymous X-Ray of a skull.  And circulating pictures of a beat-up motorcyclist who died recently.

Probably because I'm a pacifist and believe in incapacitating someone/keeping them down over killing.

Though if you kept coming at me I'd eventually have to make a killshot >.>  Anyways I haven't seen the updated autopsies since this thing first exploded, so I am not sure if he was still shot in the head or not.

Yeah, he was apparently really hurt during that scuffle. I think I see a little cut on his lip. Poor thing.

For the record, just because you can't see it doesn't mean he isn't hurt.

Considering the guy was not held at the hospital overnight, and was sent home with basic Aleve for basic pain...I'm not seeing much in the way of injuries. Maybe a headache?

I don't know the circumstances, I didn't keep track. I was just sayin'

You can have a concussion and such, but not really have an outward injuries.

Still Max, he AND the P.D. claimed he had orbital eye injuries that required surgery, but barely stayed a night in the hospital.

This whole situation stinks. :/

Ugh, I don't want to sound like PSU here, but why does society automatically assume it was a racially motivated attack when a black kid/teen gets killed by an authoritative Caucasian figure, or anyone white in general? They almost universally never consider the nuances involved, and just go straight to appeal to emotions without giving a cursory glance at the evidence.

I'd be the last to advocate racial tension, but I just can't understand the double standard being espoused by most of the media and society.

Yeah I'm getting real tired of these emotional, hyped, opinionated cases. The media seriously impedes the justice system when it goes overboard like it did here. They basically spread the fear of riot, so what's going to happen? Riot. Then once the court makes a verdict, it's always what people should expect, and it's always the opposite of what people want. Rinse repeat until these news stations are paid.

Yeah but now technology exponentially increases the levels of stupidity. The "protestors" in the live feed all had smart phones recording, tweeting, whatever. News spreads faster than ever and so do opinions. Wild rumors, theories, speculation, name it. It's causing disturbing trends. Killers are hyped to infamous levels, "hate" crimes broadcasted every week...

This is the image that was used in court showing where the kid was shot. As you notice, all the entry wounds are located on the front of the body. One of the biggest claims was that the kid had his hands up yet the autopsy proves the opposite

First off, the way the bullet wounds are on the arm indicate his arms where down and not raised as if he was surrendering. This also means that he most likely had a damaged arm and couldn't raise it, defeating the hands up claim

Secondly, the headshots show that the kid was in a stance where he was about to charge against the officer defending himself

Looks more like his arm was up, then the officer shot, hit the trigger multiple times, and the bullets sprayed upward with the recoil

At close range no amount of recoil would create that much spread.

If anything, he was hunched or something moving towards the officer, and the spread is a result of the angle his body was in when the bullets hit him.
