First time I've ever heard about this. Well, there was Dillinger back in the 1930s who robbed police stations at gun points but you have to be VERY ballsy to pull that off. Either way, the victim here is an idiot and one of the times victim-blaming should be encouraged because he had a fucking gun and could have fucking fired it

Hundreds of thousands of guns are stolen in the US every single year, combined from both burglaries and other forms of crime. That's dozens of guns stolen every single day. Of course, not all are taken from people carrying them in public, but some are bound to be. Just because it doesn't end up on social media and becomes a news story that can be found through google, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Well no shit, lots of everything gets stolen every fucking day.

But any gun owner with a functional brain keeps his guns at home unloaded in a gun safe. A thief shouldn't be able to get into that.

And no, people carrying don't get their guns stolen often, that's why it's so fucking newsworthy. You have to be a gigantic retard to get mugged like that while carrying.
