It's a joke that normalizes hatred, yesI don't really have a problem with PDP and overall I think he's a standup guy. But the problem with these "edgy" jokes that come in nowadays is they have two kinds of people who laugh at them. When you say things like "kill all jews" or "lynch niggers" or "women should die" and so on, the first group that's gonna laugh at that is edgy teenagers and young adults who equate "mean-spirited" with "funny". The second type is people who laugh because it confirms their biases and they think "yes, that is what should happen".
and these are people who don't have a prejudiced bone in their bodies

The continuation of #PewDieGate: YouTubeSomeone call the morgue cause the media just got eternally BTFO.
Gotta side with Felix here. A joke is a joke is a joke is a joke--no matter how distasteful, no matter how much you dislike it. Never will there ever be a time where getting crucified by the media over a slightly offensive joke is acceptable.
C'mon. Freaking DISNEY was one of his sponsors.
Does he have a right to say what he wants? Yeah. Do his bosses/sponsors have a right to fire him if the joke is in poor taste?
Do journalists have a right to say whatever about said joke? Yeah.

It's completely relevant. Everyone can say and react as they please, journalists do have some limitations, as their stories must be based in fact
He made a bad joke and was called out on it. Case closed

He did something stupid. He paid for it. Again case closed
No one is complaining about Disney releasing him, not even PDP himself. The problem is the writers slandering his name and saying he's a legitimate Nazi when they're doing the same thing. They're putting themselves between the bullets with their attack on PDP, watch the video I posted on this page by PDP. The editors themselves are making anti-Semitic/Holocaust jokes. Either context does matter and PDP can't be considered a real Nazi because he was joking, or context doesn't matter and the WSJ editors are Nazis as well for their comments and the world's biggest white supremacist website is their number one fans. There is literally no argument against PDP here, he objectively did nothing wrong. Quote from: MyNameIsCharlie on February 26, 2017, 09:37:12 PMHe did something stupid. He paid for it.
