You need some form of state to enforce environmental regulations. People do not care enough to boycott businesses that are dumping toxic waste into the ocean, national park, orphanage, etc.

Ultimately, I know the state will never cease to exist. I'm okay with that now, but I'm still going to do anything I can to keep it out of my face.

You've gone from an anarcho-socialist/syndicalist to a serious libertarian and slight fiscal conservative and then to voluntaryism and then back to a statist.
