In the US, at least, what's the point in legalizing marijuana at the state level if it's still illegal federally?

Also: Federal legalization is coming, and may be motivated by overwhelming state legalization (not just one or two.)

Only marginally. I don't understand why there isn't a push for federal legalization. That would be most logical path to legalization.

I'm against certain forms of prostitution, the kinds that involve human trafficking and forcing drug addicts to street walk to pay for their addictions.

I'm all for personal escorts who choose what they will and wont do. It's also safer for the escort and his/her clients.
