Do you legitimately think America is unique in violating the rights of minorities, and that out of all the countries that do so, America is the worst?

Maybe not in the current year, but that doesn't matter to me.

It should matter, though. I already explained in some detail why.

I still take everything good that's ever happened in this country as a mark of shame, simply because it didn't happen soon enough. It's not good enough that we're better now. The problems that existed in this country should never have happened at all, but they did, and nothing can ever change that.

And the amount of time it took to solve all those problems is an embarrassment. Less than fifty years ago, it was still socially acceptable to be a racist. Less than a hundred years ago, women couldn't even vote. I could NEVER be proud to live in a country where those are actual facts.

That's why I can unironically say America is the best country in the world, because I've lived in a lot of places and I see the way people are treated, how people are impoverished, discriminated against, and have no opportunities.

At least Trump is building a wall. Whereas in the EU when one country falls, everyone else goes down with it. I don't identify myself ''European'' and moving out of the EU countries might be the only option if EU policies continue to exist.
