When the issue of immigration comes up, redneck fuckers some people talk about being okay with legal immigrants, but wanting them gawd dang illeguls deported. We talk about giving illegals a path to citizenship, and redneck fuckers some people protest that we shouldn't be "helping criminals".

I don't really see why these redneck fuckers like to focus on the illegality of it so much, as if their unwillingness to follow laws is somehow a moral issue and they're less deserving of citizenship because of this.

I'm not even getting into the morality/law debate.

Seems like the ability to follow the laws of the land is pretty crucial to being a citizen. I support a path to citizenship, but you can't just ignore broken laws.
