I mean, he's the guy who stopped nuclear armageddon and would never have stepped foot in Vietnam if he wasn't killed. He also stopped Operation Northwoods from becoming a reality.

As I was growing up I always thought that the theory of him getting killed by the government was stupid bullshit, but when I looked at all the shady shit the CIA did I found it harder and harder to believe that he wasn't.

both were surrounded by hot heads so terrified the other would strike first, so they urged their respective leaders to strike first. Thankfully both of them knew the repercussions of it and worked together. We were insanely lucky to have two level headed people in a moment when the world could have changed.
