Nor do I understand why College campuses attract so many communists.

People who call them selves communist. Claim to be the voice of the people. Claim to be the voice of the revolution. Do you not see the bigger picture?

Do they not realize that they won't benefit from a revolution? Do they not realize that they are the very thing they claim to be against, the bourgeois? A college educated person IS THE BOURGEOIS. It's people like them that will have everything stripped from them and given to the proletariat. It's people like them who had strong voices for the revolution who are lined up out back and shot by commissar Joe bob, the true proletariat. It's people like them who are the enemies of the state and will be treated as such.

It boggles my mind how they can call them self revolutionaries and freedom fighters but not realize that if a red revolution were to take place, they would be the target of the proletariat. How can they be so blind? How can they not see the evidence present from the Soviet Union, from the People's Republic of China, from Vietnam, and from Cambodia?

If they're lucky, they'll have their wealth distributed. If they aren't they'll be erased from history.

It's not them who will benefit from a Communist society, it's the farmers, it's the mechanics, it's the blue collared workers. Not the rich, snobby, 'educated' college class.

College "Communists"

I haven't really met any people like that in College.

But I still agree with your point.

I've never run into a "college communist " in any of the college campuses I've been to.

You sure this isn't more "colleges are liberal indoctrination camps" propaganda?

I've had one confirmed Communist professor. As for students, I've never encountered a 'communist' student.

But they do exist. And they preach bloody murder.

Ok and I've had a tea party college professor for poli-sci that failed everyone that didn't interpret the constitution the same way he did and had us come up with a plan to assassinate Obama.

You don't see me going around making long winded blog threads about the evils of conservatism that infect our college campuses.

Yeah he was interrogated by the police and then complained to our class about how some "pussy" couldn't handle his class.

He was "let go" when the semester ended.

We always say to fight fire, you must use fire. This is wrong. Fighting fire with fire will leave scars and a new flame will rise. We must instead use water. It is the opposite of fire, it extinguishes the fire, it cools, it refreshes, it heals. We are made up of 70% water, we are not made up of 70% fire. Please practice what we truly are

You've never been to any SoCal colleges or heard of them apparently. "College communists" down here are a dime a dozen. It seems like its the cool thing to be a communist moron when you're young, until you grow up and realize how stupid it is to be and support communism.

Also I don't see how any of it is propaganda, it's a well known fact how liberally biased colleges and universities are. To find any true neutral campuses or professors is nearly unheard of.

This is all assuming that Communism has anything to do with liberalism, which it doesn't. Communism in practice is pretty much Fascism, which is a far-rightist movement. The only difference between Communism and Fascism is economics, but they're identical in social policies.

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.
The mistake you're making is thinking that those contemporary "college communists" are looking for another red revolution. There's an actual communist political party in the country and several of my friends (who are in or just out of college) are such communists, and none of them would want another communist revolution. They support its ideals and want to make some of them more of a part of our society and political landscape, but you're wrong in thinking that they'd support another stalinist revolution and regime.

They're a lot more socialist than actually communist, but they do exist.
If by "a lot more" you mean "completely", then yeah they are a lot more socialist.

There are college communists in Greece, since there are communist groups in public colleges. (It's quite well-known how parties try to sway people to their group in each college, I even had an invite from the KKE at some point when I had to go through the state system)

I didn't really care about them, so I never bothered with them. All I know is that if you support them then they exchange that with services. Like helping you study, or cheat to an exam (in college, yes) and other things. They also tend to be really combative pointlessly if you question Marxism/Leninism something that most of them loosely understand, since they probably support the communists out of need, rather than actually believing it.

They also enjoy being vengeful in case you try to go away from the group or backstab them. Often, they have fun wearing hoods and breaking stores and other things in Athens and some other towns in Greece. (That is something that the Anarchists also do, and they tend to clash one another, or different communists against different communists)

Flee's right.
Even the formerly staunchly Marxist CPUSA has slashed the terms Marxism and Leninism from it's party lines and aims for 21st century socialism as of last year.

Fascism is not a "far rightist" movement.
It's nationalist and reactionary, which both tend to be associated with the right-wing. It's also authoritarian which is more commonly associated with the right.

Those things aren't inextricably connected to right politics though.  Fascism stemmed from progressivism.

Really? This must be a very recent thing because I didn't encounter this at CSULB. There was one random dude that went on a rant about Hillary Clinton being a cunt in one of my political science classes, but that was about it. If they were out there, they weren't vocal about it.
