Why? The Pentateuch may be a disgustingly immoral book, but Jews aren't committing disgustingly immoral actions as Muslim fundamentalists are. There's nothing wrong with proportionality in condemnation.

Idk mang, Israel, especially Netinyashit, isn't exactly helping the situation by not even trying to do a two state solution and pushing for more and more land with those settlements they're so keen on doing. Everyone in the western world is getting fed up with his idiocy.

I know. But this guy is basically about taking away the rights of individuals based on the actions of extremists, and I can't support that. This is the same guy whose most popular video is the one where he pontificates about how Muslims shouldn't have the right to build a mosque near ground zero (of the 9/11 attacks, of course).

This is a good point but IIRC, Islam. . .or at least teachings of certain Islamic figures, is also largely the responsible for the end of that era of Arabic advancement.

The early medieval period was a thing, yes. With widespread de-urbanization and the loss of the ancient Greek language in Europe, the decline in scholarly knowledge was inevitable. Thing is, by the 1100's the West had widely translated Grecian scholarly texts into Latin and by the 1200's had once again become the forerunner of scientific advancement, 300 years prior to the Renaissance. The Byzantines were the ones to thank for giving Grecian and Roman scholarly texts to the Muslims in Arabic and then returning this knowledge to Europe in the high Medieval age.

Additional note: Byzantines weren't Muslim either, not until the Ottomans took over in the late 1400's.
