Most likely not. Ever since the Russo Sino split in the 50s there have been some bitter feelings between Russia and China.

This, Russia and China still don't like each other.

China will never do anything against the wishes of the popular opinion of the Security Council. Last year they helped to destroy Syria's chemical weapons stockpile (http://english.cntv.cn/program/china24/20131220/100366.shtml). Even with their support of Assad, China's military presence is going to be nothing more than symbolic, literally nothing will happen.

Just because both have similar governments, doesn't mean they'd ally. In fact many countries that were communist when the communist age was around were not allies at all. China didn't like Russia at all, and Russia didn't even care about North Vietnam until the US got involved.

China is also very anti corruption, which is a reason they don't like the US government on some aspects. Russia is corrupt to shit.

Lastly, China’s wealth is based on today’s geopolitical status quo, in which the U.S. is the dominant world power. The U.S. and the European Union are China’s most important trading partners; Russia, meanwhile, accounts for only 2% or about $40 billion of China’s annual trade.

They couldn't be further apart in terms of world interest.

China isn't human rights friendly, but no you misunderstand what I mean. I say Russia's government is corrupt in that one man is single handedly ruining shit and making it more oppressive, and his government officials take bribes and shit. And order hits.

China's government on the other hand is literally purging anyone who took bribes or did anything like Russia does. And it's not just one man. If the president was someone the party didn't like, they'd oust him easily. Same with any other member, really.

It's hard to explain, because I'm doing a shit job at it.

I guess what I mean to say is that, unlike Russia, there is no one man or "inner circle" who's running the country.

It's that party itself.

Anyway, apparently some of the people they DO want back have done bad shit though.
