It doesn't make any fucking sense to me how, in this day and age, some people are still against the unity of two people who love each other. I understand religion plays a large part in it, but that doesn't excuse blatant bigotry. Does anyone here know of a non-religuous reason of why this is still illegal?

You can't be against something that has nothing to do with you, that's just being retarded. So the real question is, how are people still retarded? The answer of course is, retardation will always exist.

Marriage is a Christian institution, and homosexuals must be excluded from any type of Christian activity. Also, if you want to go further, since America is a Christian nation, homosexuals should be excluded from America. However, we should just focus on banning gay "marriage" for now. Baby steps.

People should be able to marry the person they love, it shouldn't matter what their gender/sex is. Marriage isn't an exclusively Abrahamic  concept and Judaism didn't create the concept of marriage.

Letting 2 men or 2 women marry each other isn't going to all of a sudden destroy marriage, the Christian idea of "one man one woman" as it says in the Bible is only the Bibles opinion of marriage not the actual definition.

I suppose if you look at it purely as a procreation exercise, you'd be right. But...I've seen my one female dog humping my other female dog, so obviously homosexual behavior happens in nature.

Genetic deviations/mutations (@random) are the reason we exist in the form we do today, for all we know Homosexuality could have developmental benefits yet discovered. I don't necessarily think that's the case, but the point remains valid.

I don't like the lifestyle, think its wrong and the result of some genetic defect. That being said, I don't hate the people. They deserve respect and equal treatment like anyone else. Everyone has the right to pursue happiness and not be subject to hate and prejudice. It's not that big of a deal.
