In the most recent ISIS leader speech the bitch did call for attacks against the West during Ramadan at the same time he was speaking of defeat, he mentioned how even when the caliphate falls they can run away to Khorasan region or the desert. Which is great, the later would be ideal given that drones and hellfire are cheap.

The Jihadi analysts I follow interpret it as a loose area in Afghanistan and Iran which is quite open to terror groups, they did also mention moving the cause to Africa should they crumble, even if they fall in Iraq and Syria they'll be around for a while.

Regardless, these guys are done. They've been pretty much reduced to what AQ is now.
Maybe the AQ branches in the Arabian peninsula and Afghanistan have been crippled but in Syria they're one of the strongest factions.
