I feel bad for picking up on this, but why is the kid with the gun the only white kid in class? That was, otherwise, an excessively retarded advert.
Legitimate question here: what's scary about having a gun in the home? What about a gun hidden in a drawer gives a feeling of insecurity?

Out of the very large amount of gun related homicides and injuries that take place in the US every year, only a small percentage has got to do with gangs and organized crime. It's not even been a few weeks since Rocketman posted on here how a family member almost got shot by his partner who went for the gun in an argument and a fit of rage. This kind of stuff, including tons of potentially lethal accidents, happens in a ton of households every single day. I'm not going to turn this into another gun debate, but I can definitely see why a kid would be uncomfortable having one around the house.

Well for one, I'll state that there are 32,000 gun-related deaths each year. 60% of this number is made up with suicides; you can't simply regulate what people will do with their lives and a gun is honestly the easiest and quickest way to get out.
With that said, there are some estimated numbers with a few select cities: New Orleans gang-related homicides number between 33-55%, In Chicago, an estimated 80% of homicides are gang-related. And in Baltimore, the police commissioner states that 80% of homicides are drug-related

It was one of the few cities to see an increase in murders, and Baltimore’s City Police Commissioner Anthony Batts says that 80 percent are drug-related. Murders were up seven percent over last year, up from 218. Baltimore’s violent crime overall saw a decrease from last year.
Chicago police estimate that roughly 80 percent of homicides in the city are gang-related. There are about 100,000 gang members here.
Police say 52 of the city's 155 murders in 2013 were gang-related, less than half the number -- 109 -- documented the year before.
Can you take this away? I don't feel safe with such a low budget spoopy guns ad in my forum.
