Fucking tell it how it is man. You fucking go

Quote
SAN DIEGO - As dozens of students blocked northbound I-5 at Nobel Drive as part of a protest Wednesday morning, thousands of irate commuters were left stranded and unable to get to work. At least one of those drivers was angry enough to push a protester and steal his bullhorn.

Tyree Landrum told 10News he was on his way to work at an area Ross store when he was caught in the standstill. He got out of his car, and in front of 10News cameras, he reached out and pushed one male protester towards the center-divide. The protester was chanting "no justice, no peace" into a bullhorn until Landrum wrestled it away from him to shout his own message.

"Hey, I feel you; we ain't got no justice either," Landrum announced.

Landrum told a 10News photographer, "I got to go to Ross right now, homie. If I don't get there, I'm going to get fired. I've got six f****** kids to feed, homie … m*****f****** get shot every f****** day. Deal with it the right way, not like this."

Many other drivers felt similarly incensed. In the crowd of drivers standing outside of their parked cars were health care workers trying to get to area hospitals. One woman in nursing scrubs screamed, "Arrest them!" at the protesters.

"We have doctors and nurses that have to save lives here," the woman told 10News.

It took a wave of California Highway Patrol and San Diego police officers about a half hour to arrive on scene, and drivers rejoiced when officers drove down the ramp.

One man grinned as he shouted at the protesters, "You're spending the night in jail! That's right, you're spending the night in jail tonight!"

Pick one. The protests outside of Ferguson have been generally peaceful, so my apologies if you are inconvenienced from getting to work. But, a teen is dead and thousands are upset about that, so to quote BasedLove...

A teen robbed a story and attacked a police officer. It's not rocket science on the reason he died. People need to stfu and stop acting like the world revolves around them. Others have a life and blocking a VERY busy interstate during rush hour is the definition of being a entitled idiot

We've had this debate, I'm not going to waste my afternoon arguing with someone so thickheaded.

People need to stfu and stop acting like the world revolves around them.

The irony.

Causing an obstruction to people trying to get to jobs involved in healthcare should be a prosecute-able offence.

Trying to get to a job involving healthcare? No.
Obstructing healthcare vehicles (Ambulances and such)? Yes, and in some states, I believe it is.

You can disagree with forensics, the medical examiners reports, and lack of evidence provided b the prosecution all you want, but it remains the officer acted in the appropriate manner and defended himself from a 6+ft and 225+pound individual attacking him and reaching for his firearm

Stopping people from getting to work is bad enough as it is, but stopping people from working when they're quite clearly in a job of public interest is fundamentally immoral.

The nurses are necessary to the operation of a hospital.

People are going to argue the same for officers, or for a plethora of jobs.

Passing laws to prosecute protestors, because it's an inconvenience to people, isn't going to make anything better. However, it should be easier for people to find out where protests are going on to adjust travel plans as necessary.

I have no problem with protesting. It's when you cause a serious inconvenience to other people. The fuck are they doing across a road?

Because like it or not, no one in America gives a fuck unless they directly have to deal with it.

Protesting off to the side in a grass? Good luck getting any attention.

I don't think people outside of socal realize how bad traffic during rush hour is. This was more than just a mild inconvenience, and did nothing for the cause of the protesters.

I quite clearly said for people involved in healthcare.

Unless you want this protest, about the death of an individual, to result in more deaths? But something tells me you aren't that unreasonable. Not to mention, it does absolutely jack fucking balls for the cause they're promoting.

Progress isn't made by standing across a highway holding signs.

This protest isn't just about Brown anymore, it's about the state of the police in general, which is a serious problem that needs addressing. Stopping a few nurses from getting to their menial jobs isn't going to kill anyone, stop being so melodramatic. Like someone else said, no one would pay attention to the protest if it was held on the sidewalk. And are you seriously kidding? Peaceful protests are the crux of social change in America. That's how nearly every movement changed the nation.

A few nurses? Thousands of people were held up, don't pretend to know how many nurses or workers in other areas of important infrastructure were stopped from getting to their jobs. To deny that stopping nurses from getting to their jobs is irresponsible is purely idiotic, and there's no way around that; less nurses mean a higher workload for everybody else.

Nonetheless, they want to protest? Great, I'm with them. Ferguson (and a bunch of other police departments) have serious issues with racism, and it does need changing. This protest, in particular, however, was ill-thought-out, consequentially damaging and just a fucking nuisance at the end of the day. I mean, shit, just look at the media: they're covering the negative aspects of the protest because that was the larger effect of their actions, they aren't focusing on their cause because it's actually quite insignificant.

Nothing wrong at all with protests. Its when they break into stores or illegally block roads is when the protests become a joke. And it happens far too often.

Murder is the unlawful killing of another. The no true bill indictment for officer Wilson shows he defended himself and there was a lack of probable cause for killing the kid in an unlawful manner

Explain to me how indicting a person that has shown to be innocent of any crime is somehow justice? People with your line of mentality is the reason why the legal system goes to shit
