At least try to consider how it affects neutrals. Blocking a main road that people, especially fucking healthcare workers, have to use to get to their jobs affects neutrals negatively.  Don't be surprised when people decide that the protesters are just assholes.

As I said earlier - American's don't give a flying fuck about protests unless they directly affect us/impedes in our daily lives. If there's just a protest we see as we drive by, we don't give a fuck as a country.

Yes. They planned it poorly. Yet, these people are doing something millions of others are too damn lazy to do - protest.

People have day to day lives. Its not lazy to go to your job. Not everyone can afford to spend their day yelling in the street.

Look, I'm not going to shit on a dead man like some people here, but the idea that Brown was wholly innocent and the officer was totally unjustified in his use of force is bullshit. Things likely could have been done differently, and better, though.

The officer was not indicted. There was not sufficient evidence to charge him with anything. So I think taking a hard line on him being a dirty racist pig is pretty silly.

A lot of the protesting and rioting is happening because, and only because, Brown was a black man.

Do I think the FPD, and many police departments need change? Yes, I think institutional racism does exist in police departments across the US, especially in the south. I find the militarization of police forces nationwide very disturbing.

That said, this was not an instance of racial profiling or discrimination. Was officer Wilson justified? I cannot say. But the courts have seen all the evidence out there and they don't seem to think he committed a crime.
