I haven't watched the video, but from your post it sounds like this is literally the exact argument I have been making against (public) carrying for years now. It has been shown that the hardcore criminals and gangbangers only make up a fraction of gun violence and homicides. It is your typical law abiding gun owner gone bad or behaving irresponsibly who is responsible for almost all of these instances. What made you change your mind like this?
Um, maybe I'm missing something but following a guy home in your car and parking up outside his driveway then approaching him doesn't exactly scream 'this person has good, safe intentions'. From the sounds of it he probably didn't need to get shot but even so, I thought 'Get off my lawn' was reasonable grounds in murika.
