yes I do because I prefer not to be fucked in the ass as a consumer, and prefer to have a fair connection that I don't have to pay out the ass for.

Well, ISPs have plenty of arguments against it, but that's because they're greedy-ass shitbags.

It's not as if it's just big money lobbying for the death of NN. Internet engineers like this guy and the inventor of the transmission control protocol has said NN will kill innovation of the Internet.

Congressional involvement in the structure and nature of the internet could turn out to be damaging to any efforts at remodelling we may find necessary. The increased revenue which would be brought up by a preferential system would allow companies to re-invest in infrastructure, and deliver better overall services. Verizon itself has pointed out that the incentive to improve delivery systems if it can't change for the increased capacity, essentially allowing Google to free-ride.

. . .
I just grabbed some links from Wikipedia to demonstrate that arguments against do actually exist.

I, personally, am in favour of net neutrality.

I'd be less inclined to support the intervention of Congress if there were more competition among ISPs and they all weren't notorious for screwing customers whenever possible.

I see you've been drinking the Breitbart Kool-Aid again, despite your previous denials.

First two links weren't working for me. Tim Berners-Lee, founder of the World Wide Web, and Vint Cerf, the other founder of TCP, have both defended net neutrality. T-Mobile and Sprint both support net neutrality rules, saying that it would not harm their business.

There really is no legitimate argument against net neutrality.

Considering I don't regularly read Breitbart, and literally just said this:

No. No I fucking haven't been drinking the Kool-Aid.

>didn't take the bait

fuck

*ahem* But my point being that any argument 'against' net neutrality is shaky at best or flat-out wrong at worst. Doesn't take much digging to reach that conclusion.

Internets too essential now and days, it needs regulation. Kinda like electricity and water.

In the 21st century, internet access should be considered essential, not a product.

That's the thing that bothers me about it. Not only are many ISPs charging you for how much you use, but how fast your connection is. They should only do one or the other, not both. Either give everyone the same speed and charge for how much they use just like other utilities, or give them unlimited at different speeds.
